The AdsML Consortium is a not-for-profit organization founded by its members in 2003 with the goal of developing a single global standard for the end-to-end advertising workflow for all media.
The Consortium meets biannually to decide how the AdsML Framework will develop and to vote on approving technical specifications. The activities of the Consortium are governed by Charter and run according to formal processes. The AdsML Technical Working Group responsible for developing the AdsML Framework specifications meets regularly, conducting work by in-person meetings and conference calls.
Membership of the Consortium is open to all organizations with an interest in the advertising industry. Interested organizations are encouraged to join us and help develop the AdsML Framework.
The AdsML Consortium is supported by its members and sponsors, and also by Ifra, part of WAN-IFRA the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, and the Newspaper Association of America (NAA).
